Mocha Moms is a support group for stay at home mothers of color who have chosen not to work full-time outside of the home in order to devote more time to their families. The Northern DC Chapter is located in Washington DC and was founded in January 1999.   We welcome people of all religions, races, educational backgrounds and income levels. 

We meet for Mother's support meetings twice a month, monthly we hold a Moms-only potluck and bi-monthly we host a "meet and greet tea" for interested and current members. Our chapter also supports our local community through community service projects throughout the year.

We'll use this site to inform you about our group, share ideas, and organize events and activities.
